Sign Language Interpreting Machine – SLIM

The main objective of Sign Language Interpreting Machine (SLIM) is to support people who are unable to understand the language communicated by people of determination. SLIM uses Machine learning to convert the sign language phrases into audio which makes it easy for those who are using the app to understand the signs. In total, 5,275 image samples are uploaded across 11 classes with an average of 480 samples per class. In future, this app can be upgraded to convert the audio to sign language as well.

Know Your Patient

A bracelet QR code will serve as an identity tag for each patient. With the help of this doctors can see all previous notes and medical information or history tied to the unique QR code linked to each patient’s hospital bracelet.

Smart Public transport database

In my project i am helping people with anxiety problems or with problems with sanitation and emissions so that they can request authorities and give public feedback . This is applicable in many situations example if in case a person has a problem with the sanitation levels they can suggest to authorities which busses have this to reallocate the funding . They can also see which busses are used more to make those busses easily available and cut down unused busses . The public can also suggest allocation of funds for some busses with emissions which are very high to make them environmentally friendly

SPARKY THE SMART PARK

This is SPARKY The Smart Park. The aim of making this project is that this Robot can maintain the environment of park and keep it clean, happy and joyful by helping and entertaining the people around, out of so many of the functions it can perform, I have listed five.
1) My Robo sparky can put trash in big bin
2) It can make crying kid’s happy by giving them lollipops 🍭 and candies
3) It can pass the ball ⚽️ if it comes out of the court
4) It will keep the kids entertained when they are in a sad mood and
5) Cheer the kids who are playing in the play area and so on

LAMIS vision test for kids

Many kids suffer from poor eyesight and they do not know it. If their examination is delayed, it will affect their study this is what happened with me. or difficult for them to go to the doctor for lack of money
This is why my project idea came about; you can test tour vision at home and free of charge.
I use face detection extension to determine the position of the face and I use the E letter for test it is rotated randomly and you have to do is press the arrow as you see the direction of letter

Virtual Security

Virtual Security System is created/developed to help you and me to live in a safe environment using modern technology. The pandemic has helped us in improving ourselves to work with modern technology. Since everything became online I thought virtual security system will be helpful in our lives. Whether you own a second home or want an additional pair of eyes on your business, virtual security adds an extra layer of protection. I have my sprite Tobi who helped me create this project, Tobi told me that there is a visitor or not and to either open or close the gate virtually.

Smart Security Check (SSC) At Construction Sites

Hi! I’m Abhay and I’m from team Mega Minion! I am 10 years old and I’m in 5th grade. I have chosen the category Automate The Surroundings. On a average 38 people have near fatal accidents every day due to lack of safety equipment. On discussing the same with my father I took this as a challenge to develop a solution to solve this problem. I developed my solution smart security check SSC. SSC will detect people who are not wearing the safety shoes and safety helmet. It will also detect the number of people not wearing the safety equipment and sends that number to the field manager.

ASL (American Sign Language) Emergency Buddy by Mica

I am very proud to present my creation to you, a creation that will maybe even transform the world. My creation uses a computer or android phone with my code on it to recognize sign language for emergencies and translate it into FOUR different languages then verbally communicate it as well as it is connected with a QUARKY, it will show the word on the display area with lights. Just imagine you are a deaf person and you need help or there is a fire, how will you inform people and ask for help? So that is why I wanted to create this, A Smart device that will help Deaf People communicate during Emergencies (ASL = American Sign Language) as they also deserve the right to safety like all of us. To add on for extra info I have researched for ASL sign language translators to verbal communication apps and there is none and there I decided to create it. My project links to the sustainable development goals good health and wellbeing number 3.

THE PROBLEM-Cars have had a great impact on life. Technology, too! However, technology has influenced us to the extent that we start talking while we’re driving. Also, if your’e returning back home from a tiring day from work or at the mall, but the tiredness begins to kick in! Just think about the accident and could somebody be there to save you. Did you know, around 20% of accidents in the UAE are sleep-related, and majority are due to getting distracted through smartphones.

THE SOLUTION-The DRIVE-O-SAFE is made using Pictoblox. It uses the ML extension to classify the pose and identify if the driver is talking or sleeping. If the driver is talking or sleeping, it will play a siren sound to alert the driver!

Hopefully, the DRIVE-O-SAFE can save millions of lives around the globe.

Flood Alerter

Our project idea is a flood alert monitoring system, build using Arduino, a water sensor, a buzzer, A Bluetooth and a submersible motor used to detect and alert for potential flooding in a designated area. A water sensor detects water and when a certain level is detected, the alarm will go off and transmit a message through a Bluetooth module to a connected device. This can help reduce the death rates due to floods and further reduce the damage that is caused to property by taking certain measures earlier on.
