Project Description: With the increase of urbanization around the world, there is huge demand of organic farm produce. Farming on the other hand has become a less popular profession because of the extensive Laboure involved. Merging technology with agriculture in need of the hour. I have developed a Smart Soil Detector which will accurately sense the moisture in the soil needed for the crop. In a hot climate like India, over-watering and under-watering can affect the quality and quantity of the produce. This sensor will offload the farmer’s time and energy burden of planning, decision and execution of watering vast fields.
