Project Description: With massive improvements in healthcare and lifestyle, people are living longer. While longevity is an achievement of the modern-day, this increases the elderly population which needs to be taken care of. Along with modernization, our families are becoming more nuclear. People opt for fewer children due to the rising cost of living, leading to a poor social support system. So, this brings up a challenge in caring for an increasingly elderly population. There is a great need for support or assistance for our elders, which can accompany, assist,
and engage with them, in their day-to-day activities.
That is where my innovation, 'Eco-An ElderAssist-Bot' comes to the rescue and offers a natural companion for our elderly population by assisting them in their daily routine, keeping them happy and well-connected, and improving their overall well-being through;
--> Be a true Health Assistant with health Monitoring, medication reminders and delivery, and various assistances.
--> Comfort Quality of Life through feeding food, dispensing water/juice, and giving comfort with home automation
-->Stay Connected with near and dear ones through casual calling, voice messages, and during an emergency, SOS calls.
--> Engage & Entertain with various activities to overcome loneliness
