Project Details

Project Description: Fatigue is a major cause of road crashes and could be as dangerous as drunk-driving. Tired drivers have slower reaction times and suffer from reduced awareness, and ability to control their vehicles. As per research, driving tired can be as dangerous as drunk-driving. About 10–20% of all worldwide crashes are estimated to be caused by driver fatigue. This project intends to solve that problem by creating an AI model to detect yawning to predict driver drowsiness and alerting the driver in a timely manner to prevent such accidents.
