Project Details

Project Description: This Project is mostly useful for amateur astronomers who have a very hard time spotting the heavenly bodies, Galaxies, Comets and more. Due to the increasing light pollution in cities Astronomers find it very hard to even spot Mars in the Night sky. As an person interested in astronomy even I can feel this problem. Hence I came up with the idea of an app known as the dark sky spotter. The app will analyze hundreds or thousands of pictures taken during night by geosynchronous satellites and locate an ideal spot for you according to the naked eye magnitude of the heavenly object that you want to see.
