Cooky the kitchen assistant

The project is a code programmed in Pictoblox under the themes of strengthen our health and automate our surrounding. It helps in three different kitchen duties: first, managing the amount of food we buy or consume and tracking its expiry. Second, assisting with food preparation by offering many common recipes. Third, monitoring our daily diet and giving us a report of food proportions with some guides towards a better healthier diet. Finally, the project also has a hardware aspect, which is a fire alarm to insure the safety of the kitchen. The alarm consists of an arduino uno, flame and smoke sensors, a buzzer, an RGB LED and two rechargeable batteries.

Sensing objects and distances using an ultrasonic sensor

The student’s name is Farah Faras Abdul-Razzaq, and she attends the Smart School in Baghdad, Iraq. She is 8 years old and her project is to detect objects and distances using ultrasonic sensors. The project’s goal is to help the visually impaired and those with hearing impairments to avoid colliding with objects. The components of the project include an ultrasonic sensor, an Arduino board, a buzzer, an LED diode, a 220 ohm resistor, and wires. The project is used to detect the presence of objects and barriers at a certain distance from the device. The program is programmed to detect from 1 cm to several meters. In the event of an object in front of the device within the pre-determined distance in the program code, an alarm sound will be emitted, and an accompanying red light will be turned on to warn of the presence of a specific object in front of the device

Smart Bin

The project is about designing and programming a smart waste bin that can sort the waste according to its type to facilitate its recycling. The teachable machine in Pictoblox was used to train the model on pictures of three types of waste: paper, plastic, and glass. After that, the model was used to identify the type of waste through the computer camera and the program will control three servo motors by using Arduino Uno board to open and close the waste bin lid according to the type of waste.

Smart Cars

My project instruct children to build a robot to avoid obstacles and accidents. In this project I installed a smart car which consists of main parts which are an Arduino board and a robot which contains 4 wheels and I used the HC SR04 sensor. Besides, I used a an engine for the car which is L298N H-bridge and the SG90 Servo motor where I used the PictoBlox program to program this robot.

With the increasing death toll of traffic accidents in Iraq, where the collision accidents were the highest rate in addition to the run-over accidents. Therefore, the robot I developed detects objects and barriers to reduce traffic accidents.

Smart Gates

My projects Uses wooden pieces for the shape, and we used a 12-volt transformer to supply the lock with electric energy. The transformer can be replaced with another energy source, such as batteries or other solar cells. It can be developed by adding a bell if the code is entered incorrectly. The project is scalable.

Self-cleaning solar panels

The project I submitted is titled “Self-cleaning solar panels’’ and this project is basically a wiper attached to a micro server that is connected/controlled by an Arduino (type: UNO), I programmed it using the C++ coding language in pictoblox, and I made a device in real life that I connected to the laptop and uploaded the programming to. The objective of the project is so that we can use solar panels in the desert because it has a lot of sun and no shade, the wiper will clean the solar panels from dust because the desert has lots of sandstorms, and that will lower its efficiency in getting clean energy, so with this project, we will get more clean energy from the sun to prevent global warming

Arduino Light Controller using Emotions

This project controls different coloured leds using an Arduino microcontroller using emotions. Eg, IF the system recogonizes that you are happy, a red led which is connected will light up. The link for the file given below may have to be downloaded in order to work.

Smoke Catcher

My project focuses on reducing air pollution, one of the main influences of global warming. It has an Arduino connected to it as well as a game. A blue ball named dot explains ways to decrease air pollution. In the end, there is a game where you have to catch smoke in a vacuum. An Arduino makes a bulb light up when a new smoke plume appears but ends when you collect it. I made this using the high-level block coding software PictoBlox. The project will hopefully raise general awareness of air pollution.

The Child Safety Car Alert System

Ans.
-1It is an integrated device that sends an alert if a child is a danger in the car. The system is developed using the Arduino board which incorporates the integration between sensors and
GSM module.
-2 Because each year many of young children get hurt, injured or died by different ways of car accidents so that I can help prevent this from happening by using car safety seat system. -3I found out that covering all aspects related to this project should carefully be taken in consider because it deals with sensitive target so that I was aware of all conditions that might faces the system in order to get the desired results . 4- It is possible to develop the system by minimizing it and making it as a watch or necklace for children in a small size which makes it easy to handle and use in a better streamlined manner. A GPS can also be added to track children in case they are lost in public markets

Aquaponics System Project

Aquaponics System is an integrated system that combines plants and fish together based on fish waste to feed the plants where fish waste accumulates and produces nitrate and is converted to Ammonia gas killer and the project shows the role of biofilter and absorb natural nitrates as organic fertilizer to it and in this way we can preserve the life of the fish and get rid of water pollution so we encourage home farming and fish breeding.
