Project Details

Project Description: Our city works with solar energy. The lights in the city have sensors. It has sensors that make it lights up when ever a car cross it. And it will be off if the roads are empty so it can save energy. In addition, we have a cleaning robots which can take the trash when ever its full and empty it in the required place that will make the city always clean. More over, you can never be lost in our smart city as all addresses are made with barcodes. The barcodes will save time as people won’t have to fill addresses when they are expecting deliveries or guests. Simply they need to share the barcodes and it will have all the information required including the name,map and the time they prefer to receive deliveries. For making the project, we tried using cardboard to build the houses but we decided to improve the city looking and use a 3d printer to create a modern design. We used lego mind-storm to create the robot and we programmed it using . For the lights we created it using white papers and arduino set. For the barcodes we used a barcode generator and designed the link using Canva. Making the project was a great experience for us. We learned a lot. If we had more time we would work on the sizes of the figures and making it fits together as the 3d printer took long time from us and we couldn’t build a larger houses.
