Project Description: In recent years, ocean pollution has become a major environmental concern. As plastic waste accumulates in the world’s oceans, it is becoming increasingly necessary to find ways to clean up this debris before it causes irreparable harm to marine life and ecosystems. One solution that has been gaining traction is the use of ocean-cleaning robots. I have created a robot called B.O.T.[Bye Ocean Trash] using LEGO Mindstorm Ev3 kit. It is a unique robot as it just does not clean the ocean but is also able to classify between fish & trash with the help of Machine Learning. so without harming marine life, it can easily collect plastic debris from the ocean. The collected trash can then be stored on board until it reaches its destination where it can be properly disposed of or recycled depending on its composition and condition. I programmed the robot using Pictoblox software along with AI & ML extensions.
