Project Details

Project Description: The project "smart garbage collector and segregator robot" is all about environmental safety, we took a case study from the Narol dump yard in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, which is growing day by day, and took the initiative to stop garbage from homes, offices, malls, hospitals, and many other places from being dumped there. We have created a movable robot that collects garbage and segregates it by itself. The robot will be at your place when someone pressed the button. We used a webcam to detect the object and using an image processing robot will decide whether the trash is bio or non-bio. Based on the result particular trash box will get opened. Once the biodegradable waste compartment is full robot will go to the manure pond where we can dump the waste to make fertilizer. for that prototype model we used lego ev3 mindstrom kit ,2 large and 2 medium motor as well so many lego pisces, machine learning and text to speech extension in pictoplox software.
