Project Description: In recent years, flood disaster has occurred with greater frequency due to extreme weather or human error factors. It is vital to have an alert system for early warning to minimize the damage and more importantly, to save life. This Codeavour 2022 project demonstrates a flood alert system prototype using the Internet of Things (IoT) for schools. It uses an ultrasonic sensor, ESP32 micro-controller which is programmed by PictoBlox to send different alert levels to users' phone on Telegram messages. With this, parents and teachers can take early actions to prevent serious consequences.
