Project Description: This project aims to help new parents without experience caring for a newborn baby understand their needs by recognizing their crying type. According to Dr. Mohammed Salah Shabeeb’s research, there are several baby cries, each with a specific meaning, such as hunger, need to burp, or sleep. Therefore, I used Pictoblox and these samples of cries to train the voice recognition model to distinguish which kind of crying it is, so the device can tell the new parent what the baby needs (food, burp, or sleep).
